Exploring Creativity
Visual art opportunities guide students in a “hands-on” discovery of the arts. They will learn that visual art is a universal tool for communication and understanding. Through the production and study of art, students will gain a better understanding of God, themselves, and others.
ELEMENTARY VISUAL ART
Elementary students in grades Pre-K through 5th grade meet weekly in art class in a variety of mediums and styles.
MIDDLE SCHOOL VISUAL ART
MJCA offers two levels of middle school art. Students experience a wide variety of mediums and styles, as well as developing specific skills with sketching.
ADVANCED ART 1 & 2
Is offered to students who excel in art and are recommended to participate in advanced art classes. Students show their work at fall and spring fine arts programs and at local competitions.
