Fine Arts at MJCA

Christ-Centered, Award-Winning Excellence

Through our advanced Fine Arts Program, we aim to encourage students to use their God-given gifts, talents, and abilities to glorify God. MJCA music, drama, and visual arts students are active in their community, churches, and competitive arenas.

Our students regularly participate in the Middle Tennessee Band and Orchestra Association's Solo Ensemble, state festivals, all-county and regional competitions, the County Art Fair, the Tennessee Drama Spotlight Awards, and local university festivals.

Worship Arts

We strive to teach all students about worship as related to music and song. Students provide leadership for weekly chapels as vocalists, instrumentalists, and tech support.

Performing Arts

Through performing arts opportunities, we emphasize a quality stage experience for both the performers and the audience in drama, music, band and choir.

Visual Arts

Visual art opportunities guide students in a “hands on” discovery of the arts. They will learn that visual art is a universal tool for communication and understanding. Through the producing and studying of art, students will gain a better understanding of God, themselves and others.
