Summer Camps

SCIENCE CAMP | June 3-7     

Science Camp will be led by Mrs. Ramey. Students should have just completed K-4th grade. $150

Explore God's world through science and the arts.  Make playdough, kinetic sand, and create your own designs with sidewalk chalk and homemade finger paints.  Discover how to transfer ink from newspaper to your very own silly putty. Create your own magic bubbles that are not easily popped.  Grow your own rock candy, crystals, and break geodes.  Design your own creations using Legos. Soak your friends with sponge balls during water play. Each day we will play in the gym, on the playground, and in centers inside the classroom. No science textbooks here.  Just having fun creating unique designs with various media.

TRANSFORMER CAMP | June 3-7                                                                                                                                         

Transformer Camp will be led by Mrs. Farris. Students should have just completed K-2nd grade. $150

Join us for this transformer-filled week packed full of transformer-themed crafts, snacks, games, activities, and more. Jesus will help us learn how to transform our lives and we will spend our week playing, creating, and exploring. Transformer participants will be allowed to bring a transformer toy with them each day.  

COOKING CAMP | June 10-14

Cooking Camp will be led by Mrs. Ramey. Students should have just completed K-4th grade. $175 (snacks & lunch provided) Children with food allergies should NOT sign up for this camp.

Help cook and create your own delicious lunch and snacks each day.  Make your own pizza, and nachos. Explore a variety of breads, meats, cheeses when you build your own sandwiches. Enjoy a build-your-own  breakfast bar  And what menu would be complete without chicken nuggets, macaroni and cheese, and fries?  Desserts include fruit kabobs, chocolate pie, rice krispy treats, strawberry shortcake, and icecream with sprinkles and candy toppings. Come "Taste and see that the Lord is good." Psalm 34:8 

LITTLE HOUSE ON THE PRAIRIE CAMP | June 24-28                                                                                                                           

Little House on the Prairie Camp will be led by Mrs. Ramey. Students should have just completed K-4th grade. $150

Travel back in time to the simple days of life in America with fresh baked bread and butter that you make yourself. Engage in a picnic lunch, wash clothes using a washboard and lye soap, go on a nature walk around the MJCA campus, We will play in the gym with jump ropes, hula hoops, and race your friends on the field and playground outdoors. Play with paper dolls during center time, bob for apples (in your own container), build a log cabin with Lincoln Logs, Immerse yourself in the storybooks filled with historical facts and moral values. Feel yourself become a part of the Ingalls family as you watch and analyze select episodes comparing life on the prairie to today's busy world. 

MAGIC SCHOOL BUS CAMP | June 24-28                                                                                                                                                 

Magic School Bus Camp will be led by Mrs. Dill & Mrs. Lewis. Students should have just completed 1st-3rd grade. $150

Each day we will feature an episode from the Magic School Bus. We will be learning about God's creations as we explore the different science themes each day. We will have indoor and outdoor activities that follow along with the theme of the episode.  

DISNEY CAMP | July 8-12                                                                                                                                                       

Disney Camp will be led by Miss Emily. Students should have just completed 2nd-4th grade. $150

In Disney camp, we will be participating in Disney arts, crafts, games, karaoke, trivia, virtual field trips, and more. This camp will be lots of fun with some engineering, science, and creativity involved!
