Welcome to MJCA Athletics

 

Mt. Juliet Christian Academy is a member of the Tennessee Secondary School Athletic Association (TSSAA) and competes in Division II, East/Middle Region. MJCA maintains an interscholastic sports program, competing in:

  • Varsity Football
  • Soccer
  • Basketball
  • Cross-Country
  • Boys Baseball
  • Golf
  • Tennis
  • Girls Varsity Volleyball
  • Girls Softball
  • Cheerleading
     

Many of these sports are also available for middle school and elementary students.  See each sport's individual Team Page for more information about programs available.

To Think

We believe athletics is another form of learning, therefore we endeavor to teach character, responsibility and accountability, teamwork, and preparedness. We do this while reinforcing the lessons student-athletes are learning at home, as well as in the classroom, in order to challenge them to think with a biblical worldview in every situation.

To Lead

We believe it is our primary goal as an Athletic Department to minister to each student we coach, especially those who may not be reached by other means. We strive to lead by example and work toward the goal of helping our student-athletes grow to know Christ in a more personal way as they become disciples who make disciples.

To Live

We believe in striving for excellence in everything we do, including athletics. We require our student-athletes to be committed to being the best competitor, teammate, student, and Jesus follower they can be by leading a life that is worthy of the high calling of Christ.
