    MJCA FFA is the first school chapter to have an award-winning gardenscape at the Nashville Lawn & Garden Show. Students showcased regenerative agriculture and "farm to table" ideas at their display.

  • Varsity Cheer Advances to CCA Nationals

    Congratulations to our varsity cheerleaders for advancing to CCA Nationals! They received Grand Champion in GameTime as well as several other awards: 1st Place Solo: Emily Casey, 2nd Place Duo: Meredith Woolson & Sajal Usry, 1st Place Stunt: Macy Rhoades, Sajal Usry, Ashton Key, & Bailey Williams. 2nd Place Stunt: Emily Casey, Kendra Morgan, Meredith McKinney, Meredith Woolson, & Karlie Gee. Our Lady Saints will be heading to the competition on March 4.

  • Jessica Yates Named Teacher of The Year 21-22

    Congratulations to Elementary Music Teacher, Jessica Yates, for being named Teacher of the Year for 2021-2022! Jessica has been teaching at MJCA for 5 years. "My favorite things about teaching elementary are teaching kids to worship, and watching students get excited when they master a new musical skill and build self-confidence." Congrats, Jessica!

  • Seniors Sign/Commit to College Sports

    Congratulations to senior Davey Slaughter for officially signing with Union University to play volleyball! Davey will be heading to Union post-graduation in the fall of 2022.

    Congratulations to senior Grant Larsen for committing to playing soccer at Montreat College in Montreat, NC. 



  • Senior Jessica Whicker and Junior Emily Davis Make the 11/12 Grade All MidState Band

    Congratulations to senior Jessica Whicker and junior Emily Davis for both making the 11/12 grade ALL MidState Band! Jessica made first chair oboe in the silver band, and Emily made 4th chair flute AND 15th chair clarinet silver band. This is against all TN public, private, and home schools on their instruments.

  • Announcing Interim Head of School

    We are pleased to announce that Mrs. Amanda Van Vactor is our Interim Head of School at Mt. Juliet Christian Academy. 

    Having been at MJCA for 34 years, she carries the spirit and heart of MJCA and has the full confidence of our School Supervisory Team and Leadership. Mrs. Van Vactor arrived at MJCA in the fall of 1987 and began as a 5th-grade Elementary school teacher. After 17 years of teaching, she served as the Elementary Principal. She has also previously served as our Interim Head of School. For the last 3 years, she has faithfully served as our Associate Head of School. Furthermore, she has served on the ACSI accreditation commission for the southeast region for seven years, including many accreditation and peer review teams throughout the region. She holds a master’s degree in education from Middle Tennessee State University. Mrs. Van Vactor has devoted her life’s work to Christian education and is passionate about teaching students God’s Word.

    We believe the best days are ahead for our school and our campus for the glory of God, and are committed now more than ever to our mission and vision focusing on excellence in Spiritual Development and Leadership, Academic Excellence, Competitive Athletics, and Comprehensive Fine Arts.   • MJCA Honored By 1 Million Dollar Donation Gift

    We thank God for His continued faithfulness as we announced on August 21 the $1 MILLION gift to MJCA from one of our First Baptist legacy members, Miss Mary Helen Bass. We are committed as a campus to the future of MJCA and this gracious gift will further contribute to areas on our campus for greater ministry impact.

  • MJCA Celebrates First Home Football Game Since 2019

    What an exciting campus-wide celebration we had on August 27 at our first varsity home football game back on our campus since 2019 pre-tornado--with over a thousand in attendance! The Saints are HOME! View our varsity football schedule for the season HERE.

  • Bibles Returned to Four Senior Girls from 2020 Tornado

    It was a happy reunion when four MJCA senior girls -- (pictured L to R: Keely Sellars, Kyleigh DeBow, Jenna Dunnewold, and Macy Rhoades) were recently reunited with their personal Bibles that were displaced in the 2020 tornado.

  • MJCA Welcomes New Families

    We are beyond blessed to welcome over 150 new families to MJCA this year! What an exciting time to be a part of what God is doing on our campus! We were excited to welcome our new families at our New Family Snow Cone Social that was held on August 17.

  • FFA Awarded at TN State Convention

    Congratulations to MJCA FFA for being awarded the 2020-21 Superior Chapter Award at the Tennessee State FFA Convention! They were also chosen for the National Chapter Award and will compete for that title at Nationals in October!
