When a student is absent from school a parent must contact attendance@mjca.org by 8:30 AM to inform the school of the child’s absence. A K-6th grade student is tardy to school if they are not in their assigned classroom by 7:45 AM Monday through Friday. After 8:30 AM without parent notification, an Upper School student is considered tardy and will receive 3 demerits. Even though a parent may call the school, an e-mail must also be sent to the school. The email shall include the reason for the absence, the date of the absence, and a phone number. For extended absences, regular e-mail communication is required. It is not the responsibility of the school to track down excuses from students.

After the first day back at school, absences will become unexcused if an e-mail has not been received by the school. Excused absences include illness, death of a family member or close relative, medical or dental appointments, participation in a school- sponsored activity, court or administrative proceedings, or an absence excused with the administration’s prior permission.

Students K-12 wear uniforms Monday-Thursday. Fridays are spirit wear days and students can wear jeans (please refer to Parent/Student Handbook located on Parentsweb for more details).

Mills Uniform Company is MJCA's exclusive uniform supplier. Mills has served the country’s leading schools since 1947 and is committed to delivering exceptional products and service to our families. 

All school uniforms must be purchased from Mills Uniforms at the retail location in Brentwood or ordered online at the Mills Uniform Online Store (school code 3842). For questions about school uniforms, please contact your division principal.

We are excited to share that late fall 2023 in partnership with ChefAdvantage, we plan to have a full-functioning cafeteria! The cafeteria appliances and equipment have undergone professional inspections and the necessary upgrades will take place in order to have our cafeteria up and running. Pricing information will be shared at a later date. In the meantime, school lunches through Schoolhouse Fare can still be ordered online and delivered to the school. **New and returning families please follow these instructions to set up an account or update your profile. If you are a returning family and your profile is not updated, it may cause delays in your student's lunch delivery.

We use FACTS to manage both our tuition plans and our incidental billing for students. Incidental billing is for any fee outside of tuition such as clubs, after school study hall, athletic fees, secondary field trips, Saints Club or Holiday Care programs, etc. Each family is required to have both of these accounts and they must be set up in FACTS through Parentsweb by clicking on Financial Home. You can choose auto draft payments and payment methods for each account separately.

All fees are invoiced by FACTS to your email with at least 10 days notice, even if they are set up to autodraft. Questions can be sent to business@mjca.org.

*The first day of Saints Club will be Wednesday, August 9 for registered students only.

The MJCA Spirit Store is the only place to purchase school-approved fan gear! Shop online for sweatshirts, t-shirts, polos, caps and more! Your orders are shipped directly to your home (there will be times throughout the year that free shipping will be offered and sent to the school.) There will be frequent pop-up sales for MJCA spirit wear throughout the year at home football games and other scheduled times hosted by the MJCA Booster Club. *students may only wear spirit wear on Fridays.
