First Baptist Church, Mt. Juliet
Located fifteen minutes from Nashville, Tennessee, MJCA is a private Christian school that is a ministry of First Baptist Church in Mt. Juliet, Tennessee. The church and school sit on 54 acres of land less than one mile from Interstate 40. MJCA opened its doors in 1979 with grades 1-3. An additional class was added yearly until 1989 when the first class graduated from MJCA.
Today MJCA has approximately 570 students enrolled from preschool through the 12th grade. MJCA's mission is "to provide a biblically-based, academically challenging, and service-oriented environment in order to develop students to be servants and leaders for Jesus Christ in their community."

Affiliations and Accreditation
MJCA is fully accredited by the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI), a worldwide organization committed to helping schools develop a Bible-centered foundation that focuses on teaching students a Christian worldview. ACSI works to accomplish its mission by providing information, services, and products needed by more than 4,000 member schools in 90 countries.
Teachers who are hired at MJCA are fully certified through ACSI. The process of certification involves accountability in one's field of study, reading material that supports a biblical worldview, attending conferences, and taking Bible course work. Teachers are on a continual cycle of evaluation throughout their tenure at MJCA.
In addition, MJCA is also fully accredited by SACS, the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, whose mission is the Improvement of Education in the South through Accredition.
MJCA is also a member of the Southern Baptist Association of Christian Schools (SBACS).
For inter-scholastic athletics, MJCA is a member of Tennessee Secondary School Athletic Association (TSSAA).
